Infrastructure
Custom On-Premise Server Solutions
Not every workload belongs in the cloud. When you need full control over your data, predictable long-term costs, or hardware tuned to a specific job, we design, build, and house on-premise server infrastructure around what you actually run — not a one-size-fits-all box.
Housing
Built from the right material for the job
Steel is our default enclosure material: it's rigid, fire-rated, and shields the electronics inside from electromagnetic interference — everything a standard 19" rack needs. For wall-mounted or weight-sensitive installs, we'll switch to aluminium, which is lighter and dissipates heat faster without sacrificing strength.
Wood is never used as the structural enclosure — it fails fire codes, offers no EMI shielding, and holds static. But when a rack needs to sit in an office or reception rather than a comms cupboard, we'll wrap a certified steel or aluminium chassis in a wood veneer exterior, so the hardware looks like furniture and performs like a data centre.
Cooling
Matched to how hard your servers actually work
Most on-premise deployments — file, application, database and virtualisation servers pulling somewhere around 3–8kW per rack — are best served by a well-designed air-cooling setup: hot-aisle/cold-aisle containment, fans sized to the airflow you actually need, and in-room air conditioning where necessary. It's cheaper to install, simpler to maintain, and there's nothing to leak.
We reserve liquid cooling — direct-to-chip cold plates or rear-door heat exchangers — for genuinely high-density racks, like GPU or AI training clusters north of 15kW per rack, where air alone can't move enough heat. We size the cooling to the workload, not the other way around.
Packages
Three ways we build it
Every on-premise build is scoped to your workload and space, but here's roughly where most projects land.
Essentials Rack
- Single 19" steel rack enclosure
- Hot/cold aisle airflow design
- Redundant power + basic monitoring
- Remote management (IPMI/iDRAC) setup
A single steel rack enclosure for a server closet or comms cupboard, air-cooled and ready to go.
Performance Room
- Multi-rack layout with aisle containment
- In-row or in-rack supplemental cooling
- Structured cabling & power distribution
- 24/7 remote monitoring & alerting
A dedicated server room or multi-rack layout with proper containment, cabling, and monitoring.
Liquid-Cooled Build
- Direct-to-chip or rear-door liquid cooling
- Sized for GPU / AI / HPC workloads
- Leak detection & redundant loops
- Custom enclosure material & finish
For GPU, AI, and HPC workloads that generate more heat than air can carry away.
